Vacancy - Deputy Clerk
Eckington Parish Council are recruiting a Deputy Clerk.
Eckington is in the District of North East Derbyshire, and lies South East of Sheffield and North East of Chesterfield. The Parish consists of the villages of Eckington, Marsh Lane, Ridgeway, Troway, Renishaw and Spinkihill and countains about 5.000 households.
Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week
Salary offered is SCP LC2 24-28

Annual Parish Meeting
We would like to invite residents of Eckington Parish to the 'Annual Parish Meeting'.
The meeting will take place on 23rd April, in Eckington Civic Centre, from 19:00.
On the evening, you can ask questions, raise concerns or comments on what is happening in the Parish.

New Playarea in Eckington
We are very pleased to announce the recent purchase of the old Youth Club on Stead street. The building and land is in ownership of the Parish and will be used to improve the area.
The planning permission was submitted to develop a park with equipment for both smaller children and youth. As you can see on the plan, in addition to the park there is cafe, parking and toilets.

Eckington Easter Market will be on 29th March - celebrate the beginning of Easter holidays.
