A warm invitation to Christmas Market

Our annual Christmas Market will be on 6th December 2024, taking place on Market Street, Southgate, PRECINCT zone and inside Eckington Civic Centre. Please be aware no dogs are allowed inside Civic Centre, only certified support dogs will be allowed.

Market will be open from 10am until 7pm, both outdoors and indoors. There will be over 60 stalls to browse, mostly local small businesses, crafters and traders. Stalls will be selling Christmas gifts, baked goods, hand-made products, jewellery, cosmetics, and food & drinks. Besides, you can support local charities and organisations who will have stalls selling raffle tickets or lucky dips.

Children in particular can enjoy this year's Christmas Market as the entertainment consists from FREE bouncy castle, FREE rides, or music & karaoke. From 5:30pm children are welcome in the Civic Centre to enjoy a special visit from nobody else other than Santa!

Please note, that road closure will be in place on 6th December, affecting Market Street (closed from it's junction with Gosber Street) and Southgate (closed from it's junction with Station road), between 8am - 9pm. Documents attached.
