In 2024, the old Youth Club with land was purchased by Eckington Parish Council to be developed into play area. The play areas are important for children and families as provide a space for the mental and physical development, as well as used for socialising. We hope the residents will be pleased with the proposition.

The current planning suggest that there will be park with equipment for smaller children while the other part of the park will serve for youth supplied with suitable equipment.

As you can see on the plans, car park, cafe and toilets are proposed too.

The progress of the project will be monitored and updates about changes will be posted.
